Things you may have Missed! (Assembly and Fathers Day)

First of all - we did an awesome job at assembly a few weeks ago.  Mrs driver posted a cute video to the school Facebook page. Click here to see it.

We are working hard here in Team 8 to save our Earth for future generations!

Also, a (very belated) HAPPY FATHERS DAY to all the father figures out there. Team 8 love you very much. Mrs Turner is sorry she didn't post this on Fathers Day, she wasn't feeling too good and forgot. We hope you got spoilt on your special day. xx

You Rock Team 8!

100 DAYS!!!!

Team 8 have been counting all the days that we have been in school...and guess what we made it to 100 today!

So to celebrate 100 days of learning and 100 days of being smarter we thought it would be great to have a party. 

Team 8 were so lucky. 

We got to participate, collaborate, make, build, eat and colour in lots of exciting activities based around 100.

 Here is a little clip to show all the fun we had.

Well done Team 8 you were all amazing. I had the best day. From Mrs Grant!

Mrs Grant has trialled a new way to add a video.. Fingers crossed it works. If it doesn't then she will try again tomorrow. 

We have a Frog!

Do you remember how we had tadpoles? 

Well one went missing...

Not to worry though, because Mrs Grant did some detective work and look what she found...

Did you see some 'frog-prints' on the rock?

ta-da! Our tadpole wasn't missing at all! It has FINALLY turned into a frog! 

This is him (or her) having a leisurely swim...

Can you see how the tail is shrinking?

We couldn't leave him (or her) in the classroom because he (or she) might hop away, so Mrs Turner took froggy on a little car ride...

And then, released him (or her) into his (or her) new home...

Bye Bye froggy. 

Thanks for teaching Team 8 to care for a pet and helping us to learn all about life-cycles. You have helped make us smarter and kinder.

Tadpoles in Residence

Guess what... we have some new class pets. 

Mrs Turner went shopping in the weekend and found some tadpoles for Team 8 to look after. 

We can't wait to see how they change over the next weeks.

The Friendship Seat

We have new friendship seats at school!

They have been beautifully painted by some senior children.

Team 8 went and had a look at them today and they are amazing!

If Team 8 see someone sitting on them, we are going to be great friends and ask them if they are ok and if they would like to play. Also if one of Team 8 can't find their friends they are going to go sit there and fingers crossed someone will help them.
